Looking for a replacement

Hi,

First of all great site and lot's of info

I have a question for you all experts

I own over 60 pre recorded cassettes from the mid 80's  early 90's and around 40 or so mix tapes from the same era that I do like to listen occasionally.... I had a walkman made by RCA that cost me around 14 new at Wallgreens in the early in 2001 but the damn thing died on me a few days ago.

Now I know the best brand for walkmans are made by Sony and I been looking for a suitable replacement for my POS RCA at Ebay...doing research I learned alot about Direct Drive, Quartz lock etc, now I know why they were so expensive back in the day (used to receive the J&R catalog back in the day) and went with a Discman D-66 lol

Anyway I don't think I have the money to buy me a WM-D9 or the WM-DC2 and I'm not planning on collecting either so are the WM-FX55 or the WM-AF65 any good?

Another question: on the DD line which ones have the line output?

Thanks in advance and again great site with lot's of info

PS Long live the walkman I do own a Ipod classic that cost me $350 in 2007 and the sound is awful even with good quality mp3 (I know the sound is brickwalled but acceptable)
