SANYO 1130 Voice activated system ?

mraiwa1000 - 2013-09-01 10:15

I was visiting my grandparents yesterday and I was looking around. I found this Sanyo walkman with a little case of some cassettes and asked if I could have the player.

I tryed looking  it up and I had only found service manules for it. I guess it's rare and I wanted to know if anybody knew anythng about it. I don't know the voice commands or what it means by "VOICE ACTVATED SYSTEM" but it does have a siwtch for that on the side for on/off.

It is a pretty cool player with a built-in mic along with a speaker. It also has a hand rist.

It is a compact little walkman, but it looks strange as you may see in the photo.

If anybody knows anything about this, if you know what the voice operation means, please tell me.

Looks like an office Dictaphone rather than a hi-fi unit.  The voice activation normally pauses the recording when there in no talking.

Thanks! I'll have to test that.
