kidofthe1980s - 2009-06-25 23:32

All..Completely stun at the death of Michael Jackson, heard it this afternoon and watched the news coverga... Frown

Grew up listening to his music and had it playing loud from all the boxes I owned throughout the 80's ! Was looking forward to seeing him perform in a couple of weeks at the O2 in London...which won't take place now.

He will be very much missed...thanks you for great music !

Gonna off to play my 'off-the-wall' cassette on the sharp boxes...to relive those cools time...

Happy for comments and views...

I know what you mean Kidofthe1980s. 'Tis a very heavy blow to the Music Industry, and to the World.

its such a sad loss about michael. i had his bad album in 1987 when i was 10 and i treasured it. i even had a lifesize framed poster of him on my wall. i plaid my bad album on my hifi till my ears bled. i never had boomboxes back then-too young and my folks couldnt afford them.
im reliving it now- i have 10 now, with 2 more on the way!!!!
god bless michael jackson, there was only one. he was the voice. i think ill go home and stick the off the wall album on too- on my treasured sharp gf9090.
respect,
andy v.

I know a friend that has the (Off The Wall) album recorded in digital format on vinyl. They only pressed a certain amount of those.

For sure these are a must have and will probably fetch alot of money. Nod Yes
