now then guys!
been to the car boot this morning, and amongst a couple of small boxes i bought i also found an amstrad 6010 stereo radio/aircraft/marine scanner.
this thing is marvellous. i used to have a factory shack scanner in late 90s and loved that- till it dropped to bits.
this one has a leather case, has controls for bass treble and volume. has 6 frequencies, and actually even sounds good on radio. it picks up the aircraft strongly too. i think ive stumbled upon another new hobby- albeit slightly anoracky.
anyone else got one- i think it dates to the 70s. i only paid £3 for it! bargain!
