Yesterday I got a interesting looking set of portable speakers.

These are Matsui 2-way speakers and the speaker design sort of looks like a APM type speaker.

It has a speaker and tweeter in each speaker and rums on 4 "C" batteries.

Matsui a bramd mainly used in the UK.

matsui, theres a brand i love. the budget own brand of currys and d-d-d-dixons

I like the feature that they can be used with or without the onboard amplification with the push of a button.

The tweeters are of the piezo "can't hear them at all" variety, the APM speaker look almost certainly hides a normal round paper-cone driver, & Matsui isn't exactly a top brand but who cares? If they sound OK & you like 'em, that's what's important
