How Many Turntables do you Own?

jerryjg - 2009-12-01 00:07

I have many. There are turntable connections on many boomboxes. Soem boomboxes even have built in turntables( I have one).
I love old school turntables. I have about at least ten of them. I am going to sell a few.
They still make real nice turntables, especially DJ turntables. It'd be cool to see you guys turntables, especially hooked up to your boxes!!

all my turntables are hooked up to boxes, got my 'audio' turntable hooked up to the 767 and my 1210's for scratching and general tomfoolery linked up to the conion/clairtone

My beautiful Technics which I use for listening and for transferring vinyl singles & LP's to my PC for archive purposes and 'quick' listening.

Also a Sony DJ 'technics clone' which doesn't get any use these days, and to be honest is only marginal in terms of build quality. Looks nice though.

2 MK2 for my DJ-Set.
2 Boomboxes with Turntable (VZ2500 and Tec 811RR)

Did you hear the rumors, that technics will stop producing the famous 1200 / 1210 MKII turntables?
Till now thereĀ“s no clear statement from panasonic.
But they confirmed, that this models will no longer sell at the australian market and that they think about stoping the production in 2010.
Nobody knows, if they continue with the newer models like the MK5 or give up the whole family.

If thats true, this will be a big cut for vinyl deejays!
