HI all
Ive been looking for a new piece of hifi for a while now and ok the odd bit turns up at the local dumpit site but nothing with any style.It had to be retro ,super smart in style and be black or dark grey in colour to fit in the the rest of my gear.
Well I turned up at the booty on Sunday a little late by my standards what with the clocks going forward and all.First walk round took about an hour or so with nothing much on offer just the usual small boxes hitachi,s and the odd bush .I was thinking of moving on to a much smaller sale thats just up the road and the this happens.



The guy had left it in his boot thinking it was rubbish and only put it out when he'd sold enough items to make room.
Its an Hitachi OPUS2 radio,double tape and cd player with production around the mid 80s.
It also came with these



Omnidirectional speakers again top styling and great condition
The only down side was the remote control had gone missing at some point (anyone got one ...yeah its a long shot I know)
Anyway got it home and everything works fine but needs new belts for both tape decks

NOT BAD FOR £5 I think you'll agree

ye i like it aswell, unusual find there and all that 80,s technology for a measly £5, not bad atall that if i do say so myself

Love that Hitachi deck. Hope you can get her working Mansion.
