Hi-I Hope That This Is O.K. To Post This

ghettoboom777 - 2008-02-12 23:14

Hi-I'm new here & I have to tell everyone here that I have started a site called Razorbid.
It's like e-bay,very much like e-bay.
We're starting out with free listings for the first 3 months.
By the way please forgive me if I'm out of line in posting this.I don't want to break any rules on this forum.
But being part owner I want to tell everyone-this site is very secure & I'd like to let everyone know about it.
Right now we're just starting out & we mostly have rare KISS items but there will be more of everything when we get more members.
If anyone wants to sell or buy boomboxes why not sell them here-it's free for now!!
Any questions-feel free to ask.
Once again-I'm not trying to do anything that would be against the rules here.
I really like this site-I thought it might be a great way to buy & sell.
Check out the link & thanks-Ghetto boom777.

Best of luck with the Razorbid project. I would suggest trying to purchase the domain "razorbid.(com|net|biz|etc.)" and maybe giving the design a more "professional" look. I imagine that online auctions would be a tough market to start in, but you never know... Wink

mmm you need to get a good designer to look at your homepage. the razorbid logo isnt at all well intigrated with the rest of the page, and, i know im being harsh here, that blue line with the tennis rackets an s*** is lame. im being cruel to be kind here. these days people expect a slick look, and will have more faith in something that looks well made.

well done though, i like the idea.

You might want to check eBay's code copyright policy. I can see some very similar looking page code in there.

But, brave effort, I love it.

Thanks Ed. With so little competition, we should all get into the auction business! Roll Eyes

Ned, you should supplement your income with teaching. Nice critique, couldn't have said it any better myownself. But really Gboom, you should be commended on your effort. You need to use some Flash scripting, work with a designer/web designer and glean as much as you can from them.

Good luck Gboom!

Hi everyone & thanks!! My partner is a webmaster & built this site-I have alot of faith in him.
I actually am an administrator for 2 message boards-the site that Razorbid is hosted on & a famous musicians board..
We will add some color & spruce it up a bit when he has more time to that part of the site.
It's so much work-alot of script work.
Thanks everyone-join-up if you want.
(We have Hannah Montana VIP tickets for sale over there also-I don't know how the H*** he got those tickets but he did!!)-Ghettoboom777. Smile
