FrownHi all,I have several computers one of my computers stopped working on Firefox.
I just get an error Firefox has encountered a Problem and needs to close.
I/e 7 Works fine on that computer, but firefox just died.
I uninstalled and re installed it,same issue,i also did a system restore, same thing? My other computers have firefox as well as i/e 7 and they are all fine, just on one computer, and only affecting firefox, anyone have any other suggestions i might try?

Smilei primarily use i/e but i'm liking firefox the more i use it,i'm just glad it's back!
This new version does have some bug a boos,Mozilla needs to work out Real player, and Windows media do not perform well with version 3 of Firefox,i guess that's one thing they have to fix,it's Fast and safe for web browsing Highly recommended!

I like firefox too,I even use it on my Apple I mac instead of Safari. It runs windows media player and other players on some websites better. Big Grin

cool skip.!
I just went on the firefox live help, version 3 is still in it's testing stage, they are aware of conflicts with both wmp and real player and said those issues should be solved by the end of june... Hmm we'll see,but it's def alot better for web browsing then the prv versions of firfox, much faster,i also downloaded opera,it's pretty fast but i don't like the look and feel of opera that much, still both firefox, andopera supposedly have less risk of trojans, and viruses, then i/e,i guess i just have to get used to something different. Btw Ed,microsoft now has i/e 8 for vista,i'm using xp,and according to ms website i/e 8 is only intended for vista. my friend has vista,i'm gonna ask him if he's used i/e 8,and if it's good,i like i/e 7,the phising detection software is a good thing! Anybody using vista os,and or i/e 8 if so,how are they?

skippy1969 - 2008-06-05 21:16

Jared,my wife's laptop is running Vista and we are using FireFox now because the Internet explorer is corupt or something. It seems to work great on Vista!
