Awww! Beautiful puppy!

I came close to buying a yellow labrador retriever last weekend for only $100. The wife said no. Frown When I do get one, he'll be named Critter.

Aaaw Smile

What a lovely mops!

I would love a dogy also, but with work that is
not possible, the poor thing would be alone often Frown

no -not to change with a labrador... Wink
it`s a Cão de Castro Laboreiro ,fci(170) (Castro Laboreiro Dog)

wiki
The Cão de Castro Laboreiro (English: Portuguese Cattle Dog) is a Portuguese Molosser dogbreed originally from the surroundings of Castro Laboreiro village, on the northern part of the country.

It is a remarkably intelligent dog, making it one the favourites Portuguese authorities' police dogs. The people of Castro Laboreiro claim it to be "the best dog in the world", for its ability to guide, watch and guard the cattle, as well as the household and family. It is said to be as good as a guard dog as a family dog, always ready to play with the children of the family, but instantly changing to protector mode if a stranger gets too close. However, despite its strength, power and guardian instincts, it's able to realize if it's playmate is fragile.

With males standing 23 inches (58 cm) to 27 inches (68 cm), and females 21 (55 cm) inches to 24 (61 cm)inches, the Castro Laboreiro is more than able to guard and protect any house, farm, herd or family, otherwise would not be "the best dog in the world", not even for the Castro Laboreiro villagers.

Cool pup! Great family dogs as you noted. Here is our girl Ivory. A white Siberian Husky. These breeds are the leaner faster version of Husky you dont generally see.
