back in the day --the boys in the hood ,
used black cp-7s for batting practice --
they sucked for hoops , though -cuz no one could dribble them
I had another black CP-7 that was mint-in-the-box I had been saving for years, but just last month I loaned it out for job-site tunes to a friend of mine who does painting and sandblasting at a quarry. I could ask him to throw it in the back of the gravel truck the next time they drop off a load here....
