Hey there,
I am a recovering habitual gambler, 13 years, and by some odd twist of fate, I have to go down to Louisville next week during the Kentucky Derby. My wife is interviewing for a job at the University of Louisville, and we will be a guest of her potential new boss. Part of the deal is, is we will be attending the race with this gentleman (this is the job of a lifetime for her) and so I cannot back out of this. The good thing is that I feel I am ready to face this head on. So I am going to embrace it as part of the challenge of recovery. Anyone who would wish me luck, I greatly appreciate it, but if you decide to bet on me, keep me out of the loop! LOL

I used to work in Louisville when I lived across the river in my wife's hometown of New Albany,Indiana. We'll be going there to visit the folks in the near future. Best of luck to both of you. I've been to a few ChurchHill down parties and drank Mint Julips (you find them out there, it's a tradition). Kathy's been to the parties on it's infield AND sat in millionaire's row during a race. Too bad she was just a guest or I'd be buying more boxes today Keep us posted on the you and your better half's luck my friend.
