Ripoff??!

fatdog - 2008-04-03 19:05

The only things being ripped off are the clings from their backing paper as Ira sloppily places them on his non-UE boxes! Laugh Out Loud Ira, you know we all want some pics posted seeing as how you were my guinea pig, I mean, first buyer! Nod Yes Glad you like 'em.

redbenjoe - 2008-04-03 19:16

hey fatdog --
the stickers are absolutely perfect and they got here in just one day ---

hoping the new members will understand that my thread in the feedback section about the 'ripoff' was just another goofball comment from a goofball Smile

fatdog - 2008-04-03 19:20

I'm not gonna lie... when I first saw it I felt like this guy:

Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud

I can't believe I was suckered like that!!

oldskool69 - 2008-04-03 19:34

Well Bobby, like Skippy you apparently are poor at being a bad seller! Laugh Out Loud Glad to hear of another great exchange! Big Grin

thafuzz - 2008-04-03 19:37

redbenjoe - 2008-04-03 20:11

masterblaster84 - 2008-04-03 20:13

Laugh Out Loud I was suckered, no wait I knew it was a joke, no wait I was suckered, no wait oh damn Ira you had me going. I didn't know which way to go with it.

vladi123456 - 2008-04-03 20:15

Everybody - post quick in here - this thread is about to be locked too! Laugh Out Loud
But on a serious note - why was the first thread locked?? Poor Fatdog had to start a thread himself - to thank himself Big Grin

oldskool69 - 2008-04-03 20:17

Oh c'mon! If we really had a beef we'd PM each other first! It's an attention grabber and we like to goof on each other every now and then. My goodness, do we have to be Olsen twin cute every time we want to say something nice? It's all in good fun and besides, there are names associated with these posts which should tell us, "OK they're clowning on each other."

Sheesh! Roll Eyes

redbenjoe - 2008-04-03 20:19

I Agree I Agree

masterblaster84 - 2008-04-03 20:20

Actually it was the "COBY" label remark that made me seriously think it was a joke Ira. No harm, I think it just tripped some of us a little at first read.

vladi123456 - 2008-04-03 20:23

Actually, now that I think of that - it was the *COBY* remark that got the thread locked - we shouldn't mention THOSE on this site!! Laugh Out Loud

enskanker - 2008-04-04 02:57

No fear, I knew immediately based on Ira's sick warped, perverted, sardonic sense of humor that make National Lampoon and MAD Magazine look like Archie and Veronica comics,....that he was just havin' a laugh.

redbenjoe - 2008-04-04 06:02

s2g worldwide --
even with all its glory -- offers no better reward than the admiration of Encle Ud

Sure! Why not? You can pretty much take it to the bank there will be no pictures of scantily clad ladies posed with his boomers. Heck, we can't get pictures of his boomers!Laugh Out Loud

Sheesh! Roll Eyes

I see your Sheesh! Roll Eyes

and raise you two sheeshes, and 3 Roll Eyes

No, but there is nothing to gained by treating the Buyer/Seller review section like an extension of the the Off-Topic section either.

All we are asking is that the buyer/seller feedback section remain a respectable repository of accurate information regarding buyers and sellers that we encounter, both here and on Ebay.

Sure, us regulars can wade through the "bull" to get to the actual intent of the post(s) like these, but keep in mind that we are about 0.05% of the overall makeup of the site. If you wanna sling horse apples, all we're saying is to do it in the appropriate place.

Buyer/seller feedback is not the place for it.

redbenjoe - 2008-04-04 12:02

Pan Fan --your Sheesh is respected --
but its also very incomplete -

-by closing the thread - you give that brilliant author no chance to delete it -- and to re-write it as might be more appropriate -

there may be a few hundred boxes out there -just waiting for those cool Fatdog stickers-

but with the thread closed ----

no other members can jump in to promote the stickers -- and cant even start a 'better' feedback thread , while the old one is sitting there --

so kindly complete the sheesh --thanks Smile

panasonic.fan - 2008-04-04 13:10

You had your opportunity to be appropriate, and quite clearly, and intentionally, chose not to be. On more than one occasion.

Anyone, including you, is welcome to start a feedback thread about their purchase experience with FatDog for the stickers. Hundreds, no thousands of others can join in should they buy one, just to discuss how happy that they are with FatDog's hard work to produce them. Your thread isn't the only one where that can be done, contrary to your belief.

This really isn't up for debate, read this and post accordingly in Buyer/Seller Feedback in the future, ok?

oldskool69 - 2008-04-05 04:53

Shut down...First Red...Now Ed...

To quote Goldberg...WHO'S NEXT?Big Grin (Probably me, so let me save the grief of "Probably Right" or "You are!", retort.Laugh Out Loud)

enskanker - 2008-04-05 05:02

PF's just doing his job, oldie.

Reminds me of my RA as a freshman in my college dorms. Kept us stupid freshman inline and from hurting ourselves.

oldskool69 - 2008-04-05 05:09

I know, just kicking some humor into it Ed. I mean c'mon I quoted Goldberg! Roll EyesBig Grin

And I was waitin to see if the Rhyme would be completed...Laugh Out Loud

And to stay ON TOPIC - Bobby are you going to produce stickers for other boomers?Smile

If an interest is shown in a sticker, and I can get good enough source pics, you bet I'll do it. It's almost like therapy for me. 71spud wants me to do one for the JVC PC-5 (at least I think that's the model). The JVC RC-M70 is on the list, but my source pics are a little fuzzy and I can't remember who sent them to me. Frown Confused

71spud - 2008-04-07 17:10

Yup, the JVC PC-5... I sure do want you to do stickers for that.... wading through my pics for any better ones, angles, size etc. You do great work and I am excited you are considering doing the PC-5 stickers for us (me!)

redbenjoe - 2008-04-07 17:24

Could be better. It's too bad that Gordy left us - I could have made a small fortune off him with all his Conions! Big Grin Looks like they'll be going on eBay.
