worlds coolest traffic jam

redbenjoe - 2008-03-14 20:52

cannot exaggerate this true story :

today i was working all around busy, noisy, boring Interstate #95 near Fort lauderdale --it was the perfect 'dazzling sun' beach day --

so i decided to leave early - leave all those big ugly trucks behind -
-and cruise home on the lovely beach-side road (#A1A) at fort lauderdale beach -- and check out a FEW bikinis --

being a 'former' perve -- i knew the way Smile

what i had forgot about -- is today was 'big friday' at the center of the world famous SPRING BREAK party

the traffic was creeping along at ONE mph --
and even that was much, much too fast for me -

the scenery was incredible -- there have been plenty of full length movies produced about spring break -- but THIS had to be the magic day of all - better than any movie so far

it was like a wall-to-wall beauty pageant with
THREE THOUSAND entries !!
i am sure that SNOOP dogie was doing his thing -but i wasnt really looking for him-

anyway - its was the best 2 miles ever witnessed
________________

JARED - i think you live near there -- check it out tomorrow Smile
and bring your BEADS and a boombox!

vladi123456 - 2008-03-14 21:06

I believe - during the spring break - you're supposed to refer to it as Fort Liquordale Wink

redbenjoe - 2008-03-14 21:12

well - please dont think i KNOW Smile about all these matters --
but not too far from you are some 'almost as glorious' spring break spots ::

galveston , san padre island .......

need directions ?

masterblaster84 - 2008-03-14 21:27

Spring break in Florida, how could you not like that scenary. Big Grin

jaredscottfla - 2008-03-14 23:07

SmileIt is pretty cool guys, but the ol' farts have really subdued the spring break partyers in FLL.
It's still a happenin' place just not like it use to be.
Def worth the gander if ur in the neighborhood! Big Grin

redbenjoe - 2008-03-15 06:19

hey jared -- its a short 40 miles away from me --
so i may just pop back down there today ----
(and tomorrow) Smile

i case you are there too -
i will be the guy with the Vinix!

ned.209 - 2008-03-15 07:00

i think if you put the car in first (manual, stick shift i think ye call it) yeah, if you put it in first and take your foot off the accelerator it will crawl forward at about .4 of an mph Smile

Do you get full detail of the "toes" (not feet) at 4/10mph or are you required to slow down even more? Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud
