gooner - 2008-03-01 13:54

black and silver cbr600fn 92, mint 26000 on the clock goes like new.

jvc.floyd - 2008-03-01 14:39

mines black with lots of polished aluminum and chrome ,15,000 miles on the odometer.

masterblaster84 - 2008-03-01 16:32

Floyd,
The 1982 Maxim 650 was my first big bike and I loved it. Yes it had shaft drive and it was black with lots of chrome, very similar to the 750. I log miles on a fairly well customized and hopped up 2000 Harley Deuce now. I've owned maybe 10 different big bikes starting with that Maxim, I still have pictures of my scrawny 20 year old arse sitting on the bike. Big Grin

Cool guys,I wish I could go for a ride too. We still have to much snow yet. Frown My buddy has a 1993 CBR600F2 black and silver. He just got it a couple of months ago. I just ordered him a rear tire, chain and both sprockets, they were worn and noisy. When it warms up we'll get everything in order for the riding season.

I,ve just had to sell my Kawasaki ZX12R Ninja cos of my busted up leg, dont mind admitting i had a lump in my throat as its new owner took it away. Not gonna be able to ride for a couple of years so it had to go.

kid.sensation - 2008-03-02 09:06

I've got a bike too Big Grin

mine is similar to this:

Blata Elite 14 WRS Pocketbike Smile

As soon as i got some money i want to make the bike-license ( nearly same expensive as a car-license here..~1000€uros Mad ) and buy myself a nice ride later!

Nicole,
I like it, that's a 21st century moped and takes me back to the day.
I had a 79 Honda Express and an 82 Yamaha Towny, I really loved that Yamaha. Smile

I had a Kawasaki KH-250 just like this one back in 89. I swapped it for weed in the end, I kind of regret that.

ao - 2008-03-03 23:32

Decentman4you, couldn't you fix that rim by removing the tyre, placing the wheel in a large vice & straightening with a large wrench?

here below is the reason why I Cannot,
Fix the rim is cracked and is Made out
of Cast Aluminum therefore I have to
wait for my income tax $$$ to come back
to hopefully have enough to buy another
one as this Make ( MZ ) MZ - RT125
is very hard to find parts for
and there is only 2 dealer's in town
that sell this bike 1. Apollo and mphcycles.com
where I bought this from, here in Houston Texas USA

- 2008-03-04 06:45

p.s. My first MC back in the states after being the Service ( army 1977-1980 ) was a 1981 Kawasaki KE-100 as I always liked the smaller bikes never the larger one's, larger than 250cc that is ...

ao - 2008-03-04 08:24

Shoot, you hit that crate hard.

Ouch! Your right, you have to replace that wheel. That's one of the drawbacks to cast wheels.
