Talk about fate!

Yesterday morning, the 16-year-old son (Corey) of a family friend was involved in a horrendous car crash. From what we've heard, the son bent down to adjust something in the car and inadvertently began crossing the double yellow line. At the same time, unknown to Corey, another driver was crossing the double yellow line. Corey saw just enough to swerve back to his side and was only clipped in the rear driver side. However, that caused the car to spin and wound up on the opposite side of the road where he was T-boned by an SUV on the passenger side. The car eventually came to a stop in the ditch. His younger sister, who would have normally been riding with him on the passenger side, had gotten mad at Corey for some reason and decided to ride the school bus.

Corey walked away with only a few scratches and bruises! Eek

WOW! CRAP! And add on from here. Just shows you how powerful God is! (For those who believe.) This also shows what happens when most teens are driving. Let me first say what a blessing he came out with bumps and bruises only. And thanfully, for whatever reason his sister was not meant to be there at that moment. Second I can say I'm guilty of the same stuff, just in a different manner. Now we have cell phones and coffe cups or whatever. We may not take our eyes off the road while multi-tasking but we do take our "Focus" away from what were doing. A sound message to us all if there ever was one. Smile

The Universe has other plans for both Cory and his sister......perhaps great things.

My first thought, when I saw the pictures, was "Oh man, he is seriously farked up - if not dead." When I heard he was alright and after hearing the story of his sister, I was in awe of the ultimate power. I can't imagine what his parents thought when pulling up to the scene. Wow!
