The prestige of a boombox is undoubtedly lowered considerably by the ensuing odor. For nothing is more destructive of the value and desirability of a large boombox like this than the the passing of descreet effluvium which cannot be detected until up close. It is an open secret that the sad decrease of value on these boxes which have been so used in shows and otherwise is closely connected with this.
