Hey All!

Please see a copy from a flyer my wife and daughter sent out. She wantsto attend modeling school. They asked that I post this here. I am proud of my daughteras she is learning that she has to work for these type of things. We can ship around the U.S. but cannot ship overseas due to custom.

She is making pound cakes, cookies, fusge and brownies. (Her ultimate goal is to be a pastry chef.)

If you are willing to buy or make a donation please send me a PM for PayPal info. Between all the clothes, makeup, initial fees, and setup costs we're toasted. But she really wants to do this.

Pound Cake $20, Fudge $5, Brownies $7, & Cookies $8 (Shipping based on location.)

Vivyanne and I will be selling cookies and brownies this Sunday. She was selected by Barbizon for the acting and modeling division. Of course there are classes involved; which means we need to raise $500 for the down payment by next Tuesday. The total cost is about $2200 for the 6 month training program. Viv, being Viv states that she didn't want this payment to be a burden on the family's finances. She is willing to cook, bake, and babysit until she can cover the cost. I just love her 'I'll work for it' attitude. One of the questions they asked her during the interview was how important modeling was on a 10 point scale. She told them, 9, and further explained that her ministry/working in the church was more important. She made me so proud. She interviewed really well Sunday evening. Mrs. Wyetta Smith just raved and raved over the phone about how Viv impressed her with some of her answers on the questionnaire.

I promised her that this time she will get to participate in this one. She has had 4 other opportunities like this since age 5. Each time we just did not have the funds or we did not trust the agency. She has been so gracious throughout it all. I think at this point, I want this for her almost as much as she wants it.

Modeling is definatly one of those professions where you litterally have to step in **** for the luck. My friend was once hanging around in Washington Square Park in Manhattan and some dude approached him with a card. Turns out he is a photographer with connections. A few months goes buy and he ended up doing the Spring lay out for Tommy Hilfiger follwed by runways in Milan and all sorts of places. It was freaky seeing this dude i used to work with in a Blockbuster Videos gracing the sides of New York City buses and subway cars and stuff. he made alot of money for it too. He currently now works on computers and sh*t.

I used to tease him, "man, I'm just as ugly as you are...Where's my modeling gig?"
