Sad news.
Pink Floyd was my favourite '70's band.

Man, I miss the Pink Floyd laserlight shows at the Sudekum Planetarium just a little more.

A terrible loss, a true genius one of my all time favorite Rock Band. I love the song "Us and Them" it just takes me away and the sounds are incredible.

My prayers goes out to the Wright family & Pink Floyd.

Miss ya already.

This is sad.
I saw the Laser Light show also-I believe it was like 1990' or 1991'.
I wish I could have seen an old show with all the old members including Barett,Waters,Mason,& Wright! Was Gilmore always with the band in the early days or did he come in later?

David Gilmour knew Syd Barrett from pre Pink Floyd years, and joined in late 1967 while Syd was still in the band. Barrett was out of the band a couple of months later in early 1968.

Rick (Richard) Wright, Waters, Mason and a couple others were playing together before Syd Barrett joined and eventually renamed the group The Pink Floyd Sound...
