Hey Mono, I just posted the same thing under the off topic section. Thought it was strange too.

Some people can do very dumb things but I can't imagine anybody doing that on purpose, I'm thinking his account got hacked. Confused

May be it is the game for reach people?
No problem to loose 2k, but it allows to get adrenalin...

Nonsense! Total nonsense!

Did you notice that he has 14 of these $2000 BIN auctions?

He does accept offers though...

Probably just nuts... I live in WI too and all this snow is driving people crazy this year....

Lol...I've seen this done many times and i know what happened here. Last night was a cheap ebay listing night. All insertion fees were reduced to 20 cents. So this seller probably did not have time to do proper listings but he still took advantage by listing a bunch of "mystery auctions". He/She wasn't stupid because by starting the auctions at $2000 he is giving himself a wide margin or price range to start his REAL auctions and still get the reduced 20 cent ebay fee rate. If you check his auctions in a day or two,you will probably see that all his auctions have been revised and the mystery auctions will be REAL items with pictures ect. They may not even be boomboxes because he can revise the catagory also. I don't agree with this method but it happens alot on ebay. Mad

That seller saved $73.60 in listing fees alone although it is not really permitted by ebay. Sort of borderline.... Eek

I'm going to start an eBay store called Morons R' Us. Just send money orders or cash. To a P.O. Box. Don't ask questions. People are too stupid anyway to ask questions so an answer would just confuse them anyway. And for being ripped off and to pay eBay fees, you'll still be charged $30 shipping minimum. Air is tough to package and tends to vanish so no insurance needed and ain't offered anyway. Wait if you want it add extra $100.

Thanks for visiting my store! Good Luck! Shop Victoriously! Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud

(Must be a hack! This is why I have yet to sell on eBay.Eek)
