tonight --at the beach -- perfect weather --
birthday party for local friend --
a surfer dude --travels to australia, hawaii and all over the world , to catch the 'epic' waves.

our friends borrowed his past 12 months worth of video tapes --and made him a gorgeous , ultra-thrilling 30 minute 'highlight' video --
and added a super reggae audio track-

they set up a big screen on a beachfront porch-
all the guests were amazed at everything !!

until - suddenly -
'cheers turned to boos'
murphys law attacked -and their 'professional' audio system dropped dead

NO PROBLEM for s2g members
ran home -- grabbed the henry m90 --hooked up the line-in -- sounded great !!

at 60% volume - easily loud enough to please 75 LOUD 'beer folks' --and above the noise of the crashing waves --

because it is a LOUDER (not better) box
to have for a big crowd --
but -
oustide in dark --and with all the operators smashed -- they would never have mastered all the chinese lettering on the controls -really !!

but - what was very surprising is that everybody thought it sounded at least as good as the giant 'pro' speakers it replaced !!!

i still think the c100f and the gf1000 play louder for a big noisy beach party -

whats funny (to us) is that none ever had // or can remember what a 'stock' m90 is supposed to look like -- so they all think the goofy paint job is 'how it is'
