i think its worth a 'travelogue'--
because this nature preserve beach is one of the reasons so many of us live in --
and respect florida-
its next to naples -- the home of T/A frank-
part of marco island = "tigertail beach"-
on the southwest coast.

the first shot = the pathway to franks hood
the second shot --shows the wide open spaces --even on a perfect sunny sunday - IN season
next is some old guy
exploring with franks cool son , jake -
we are hunting for eagles, dolphins and alligators --all live within this 2 mile stretch.
next --look at the white sand bars across the 'channel' behind jake --
those are the pathways to the main GULF side beach
then - here is other side of the channel --its the gulf of mexico
finally --an entirely independent survey concluded that 8 out of every 41 girls --

while frank was setting up his ipod/crown 850 --
i went back to the parking lot --to grab the 950
on the way back -i heard some big beautiful clear bass --from 40 yards away !!
and saw frank and his kid fishing in the lagoon.
when i got to the crown --
noticed that it was set at only 40% volume and 75% bass boost --
so , in my book --
the 850 ranks WAY up there as one of the true portable ghettoblasters

Was a great day but I am paying the price today with a wicked sunburn.
You dont realize how hot it is when the wind is blowing,
but its like being in a convection oven.
