I fvcking hate Yahoo video. I've never gotten it to work for me using ANY browser. Mad

Worked fine for me using FF 3.05 just now. If you're using a script blocker you may need to allow some of them for it to work properly.

What a shame (getting sued like that).

My Safari browser on my Mac works fine on that clip. Big Grin
I would have let the B--tch die then, gosh how damn ungrateful can you get. Mad Confused
That really burns my beans!!!
I guess you shouldn't help anyone out anymore.
Society is just getting stupid and everybody keeps to themselves too much. (IMHO). Confused

Thanks, Mono. Those links worked. I agree with Skippy about letting the woman die. If she's going to take that kind of attitude, why don't they just let her die now. At least that way she wouldn't be a burden on the healthcare system. Damn ungrateful *****.

oldskool69 - 2008-12-20 14:36

What a sorry a$$ state of events. If they let her blow up,then they'd get b!tched at for not doing enough. Frown Roll Eyes

I hope this case goes nowhere. If it does, the stupid broad pushing the lawsuit will have a hard time ducking eggs and tomatoes. Nod Yes

If she's small enough, we could play kickball with her. Leaving

The conduct and mentality of some people is embarrassing sometimes. It's now more difficult for good samaritans to act in good faith to help each another. Frown

71spud - 2008-12-20 16:03

I guess it depends on the details..... the wreck looks pretty bad.. but was it really almost ready to explode? If it was on fire I would side with the good samaritan. If it wasn't I would side with the injured person... a bit anyway.... Leaving

Did you catch the part where they were co-workers coming home from an office party? I don't know any more details, but perhaps the driver was drunk... and the person who pulled her out might have been drunk enough to be doing something they shouldn't have in that situation. I think we don't have quite enough details. Good Samaritan or Drunken Fool? I would hope that there would be some kind of protection for both the Good Samaritan from being sued and protection from idiots who do the wrong thing at the wrong time. Black/White and alot of Grey.... Confused Roll Eyes

Personally if I would not let potential litigation keep me from doing what I could to help someone in need. No No

I Agree my sentiments exactly
this is the main reason Doctors don't step in to help strangers! Afraid of getting sued,!

I helped once in a situation such as this it was rite b4 midnight 31st December I was in my car entering route 280 west in Newark N.J. as I 'm driving about 1/8 mile I notice lights facing me it was a van flipped in the middle of 3 lane highway being rite b4 New Year countdown the road was pretty clear I parked my car directly in front to light the area set my blinkers and helped the young Afro American man out of the van which was on it's roof and then helped him get his histerical wife out too, upon doing so I saw he had a gun and he noticed I saw it and he identified himself as an East Orange Police officer. He thanked me for helping him and his wife.I got in my car and left as the New Jersey State Police arrived never to hear about it again I would gladly do it again if a persons life is in any danger.
PS..Till today my wife who was my girlfriend at the time and in the car with me, my brother and sister whom I told were the only ones beside the couple I helped that knew about this incident.
