oh I imagine they will get plenty of offers.... maybe even a few proposals.... Big Grin

redbenjoe - 2008-12-15 19:54

"thanks for the heads up" Smile

although -- after the 3rd reply ---careful analysis reveals that those kids are a 'mature' 14 --TOPS !!!

jason1976 - 2008-12-15 19:56

most likely and stupid. but I am sure it will follow them around for some time.

billpc55 - 2008-12-15 21:49

hmmmm. some people look good with bikinis on.
some people should stick to wearing more clothes.
and last but not least.
its been done. i mean the dude who did it at burger king at least made a video. i will admit i did think that was pretty funny.
i mean who goes to burger king of kfc and expects either good food or good service.
i wouldnt be caught eating at any fast food place which was a big chain.
except for maybe.
fatburger.
you can watch them cook your food.
trust me i do.
like a hawk.
i know the kinds of charades these kids can get up too.
heheh.

redbenjoe - 2008-12-15 22:08

my youngest kid --works at quiznos after school --

all the employees are local friends -- they and their friends and families eat there --often.

the place is immaculate -always--
and they all take pride in doing a good, clean job

its a pleasure to walk in there --

--------------------
our local KFC is the opposite of that.

thafuzz - 2008-12-15 22:21

I've been through Anderson,CA. many times. Not sure if I've been to their KFC though. I've been to their mall outlet stores. It'a about 3 hrs. South of me. Scary.

ford93 - 2008-12-15 23:03

Nothing beats a good home cooked meal. I love to cook, especially making Flan which is a spanish pudding mmmmmm delicioso!

panasonic.fan - 2008-12-16 02:56

I'd say the girl in the yellow bikini could have "drummed" up sales at the store..... Wink

oldskool69 - 2008-12-16 04:05

These kids are idiots. his will follow them around for a looonnnngggg time. People get looked up by employers on Facebook, Myspace, ect. just to see "what they're really about". Stupid.

"Hi, I applied for this job and wanted to know where I stood."

"Sorry, ma'am, we have evidence you'll show no respect for the work place. We saw "KFC Moments on You Tube and My Space." Have a nice day and good luck. Roll Eyes

panasonic.fan - 2008-12-16 04:28

Says he who casts the first stone? Come on, these are KIDS, and kids do silly things.

Was it stupid? YES! Should it be held against them for the rest of their lives, relegating them to "KFC" type jobs because of it? Of course not.

I guess we're all mostly relieved that the internet didn't exist when we were teenagers.....

skippy1969 - 2008-12-16 05:54

My question is Why ??????????
At least thy kept it clean........ Leaving Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud

Panafan, yes we did stupid things as kids. BUT...These kids must be waaaaaayyyyy more stupid than we were. They surf the web and see the dumb*ss stuff people do and then do it themselves for all to see.

Kids are all aware of teachers, etc. losing jobs because of such actions andmost if not all high schools, PSA's, college and career counselors are warning these kids that no longer is the dumb thing you did just a funny story you share with a few. It's nationwide and you'll be judged by your actions more than by the piece of paper and ten minute discussion you have with a total stranger.

Even at my job, they get your SSN and check criminal history, credit history, and yes check the web for what may be out there on you. This is the new reality. Everywhere. Smile

I Agree Glad all of that is behind me for good. Big Grin

billpc55 - 2008-12-16 21:23

yeah honestly i dont think this will stay with these kids beyond next week.
its kfc not the whitehouse, and these are children not adults.

oldskool69 - 2008-12-16 21:43

That's the sad part Bill(PC55). You want to look at it as a bunch of stupid kids but now things like these videos are being used to hold people hostage with careers or whatever.

You could be PO'd at someone and call them a MF it gets caught on some video somewhere, and though you've been a good guy all this time, now you need anger management and are seen "different".

You're correct, in the media, it'll blow over in a week...some dork looking over a persons history for a company seven years from now, different. Smile

71spud - 2008-12-16 21:45

Oh well... if you really screw up and want all to be forgiven just run for any office as a Democrat. Leaving

billpc55 - 2008-12-16 22:17

in canada stuff is different from the usa.
i mean here you can kill someone in cold blood. stab them 39 times and be out of jail in five years.
not that being said there should be some kind of inbetween ground.
i mean its so wierd that people in this day and age will post personal stuff on the internet.
i mean photos of parts of their bodies only their spouses and doctors should see.
in some cases no one should see certain things.

Which is exactly how different than the way we emulated what we saw others doing on the playground, on the steet corner, at the mall, etc.? It's simply another method of absorbing influence.

But, you seem to taking an adult perception and applying it to teenagers. It may cause them not to land that dreamboat job at Taco Bell now (maybe), but, do you really think that this will make any longer term impact when they grow up, become adults and go out into the world for their careers?

I really, really doubt it.
