Thanks for the link! If you scroll down on that page, it breaks out all the tracks. You can figure out some of them. I'm grabbing all the stuff up to 1986. Big Grin

DESCRIPTION:
quote:
A bunch of radio shows from New York's famous stations. WBLS, KISS and WHBI. Featuring Red Alert, Marley Marl, Chuck Chillout, Sammy B, Pete Rock, Clark Kent, Funkmaster Flex, Silver D, Chilly Q and more. The majority were ripped by me from my own collection of tapes.

Nice, More period correct tunes to crank out of our time machines!

One seed and I think my computer is slow...only at 35% Dl'd.

Anyone here finish the download, if so how does it sound?

Only 35%? You must have gone for the whole thing. I only selected a few (nothing newer than 1986) and have them completed already. The shows I have listened to are pretty good quality - perhaps 1st generation copies.

Indeed I went for it all...seems to be my idea on free music.

Plus my buddies got me into grabbing radio shows. He's got a massive stock of old Strech Armstrong & Bobbito shows on tape(89.9fm W-KCR Late night Thursday 1am friday morning technically.) He basically chiphers out alot of the shows and grabs all the in studio guests freestyle sessions. He's got 100's of tapes by now.

Mine's crawling down with 1 seed.. seems that it's been that way since yestered. The first 3.5gig came down in the first day, now it's knackered. Ah well, I'm in no rush, it'll drip all the way down eventually.

Thanks for the hot hook ups Petey, reallly looking forward to getting it all down.

Rock On.
