sounds like another of my stupid joke threads-
--but the following actually happens a few days per week down here ::

my kid comes home from work or school or whatever he does ??

then he runs up the street to 'check the waves'
for surfing

then he sees the surf is OK -- but none of his 10 regular surf buddies are out there--

now he KNOWS -- none of his friends are EVER in libraries or malls ,etc

so then they must be surfing at one of the 6 often better beaches

all the other beaches have live -SURF CAMS !!

so - he jumps on the net --and takes a quick search for all these other spots

BOINK --the videos are so clear -- that he can actually see his friends 10 miles 'upcoast'

they all have cell phones in high tech 'wet bags'

he makes a few quick calls -and he's gone

to us 'older' members --who still think that cordless phones and remotes are 'new fangled' inventions --
this whole surf cam network is just incredible !!

below - is my favorite 'save-as' from a member this month
it makes me need to ask you guys -- this question ::

if we all had Box Cams at our front doors --
could we all share the joy --whenever any member -- in the world -- gets a new box !!

Actually, having wireless home cameras is not such a bad idea. If somebody breaks-in to steal my boomboxes - I'll wish I had one (in each room)

thinking that all this is not REALLY that new --its just live television-- been around since 1946 - right ??
