too much stuff.

Confused woah i just did a re and re of my music room here at home. i have way way way to much stuff in there. i mean i just found a box with forty stompboxes in there almost all of them unused. then there is the synths i found that i totally forgot about. i mean i think over the last three years i went through some weird state of not really paying attention to what i was doing.
i also found more boomboxes stereos and other cool old stuff. a old atari computer i bought. a ancient emax sampler i had bought and stuffed in a corner. just soo much stuff. i think its time to maybe consider selling off a whole bunch of stuff.

trust me i would never and i mean ever allow myself to have that happen.
i mean good on him for having his passion for boomboxes.
i mean i like my synths and musical instruments. i like my stereos and audio stuff.
i do not however intend to ever be in a situation where anyone would come over and consider having a intrevention.
hats off to the really extreme collectors.
i have some stuff i could make some money off of. unlike my boomboxes my synths i bought with much more than a twenty dollar limit. my jupiter six the last time i put it up for sale got a two thousand dollar offer within the first ten minutes it was up.
yeah i have a couple of boomboxes that arent so cherry but my synths are all pretty much like new. i also am fanatical about maintaining them. if the slightest fault is there it gets fixed.
i could not have it so when i perform with them or go to record with them they arent working one hundred percent.
i just have so many synths now i am not using so much now. i dont want to sell them beacause each piece i have does something unique. if i sold the ones i am not using right now i am sure that i would be looking for the sounds it makes the next day.
i never made the switch to software i started too,but i found it just not to my liking in terms of how the workflow was for me.
i dunno i mean hats off to guys that do their entire set with something like ableton live i envy the ease of the compactness of their rigs, its just not for me tho.
i need more shelves but theres no danger of me needing a intrevention. Big Grin
