Sometimes I Hate New Stereos!!

ghettoboom777 - 2008-12-07 14:54

Hi-I just have been working for over 3 hours on a Aiwa home component system.
It's one of those that have all digital displays and hook-ups for 7 speakers.
Well to make a long story short the cassette decks were really screwed up-they wouldn't play and also some of the functions didn't work.
Well I started to take the front of this thing off and there is a tab with a bunch of connections on it and it seemed ever since I pulled this front off it never went back in like it did.More things didn't work-More frustration-Endless problems-Finally after wasting over half of the day-3 1/2 hours-BANG!! hand broke the front plastic cover-well I finished it off-POW!! I busted the D*** thing!
I hate newer junk-I think I need a drink.
Got some great powered woofer speakers that I'm keeping though.
I don't think I like these kind of stereos!!
I was kind of nice though-drew 225 watts and it had a Karoake section and all sorts of stuff but some stuff didn't work and I guess I just don't care!! Razz Roll Eyes Eek
I kept all of the belts off of the tape deck section and smash-it's in the garbage.

I guess the old saying comes into play:
"If it doesn't work,it wasn't good on the first place"
"If it works don't fix it" Stupid cheap newer electronics! Mad
I'm o.k. now-just a bloody hand!
Have a great on-GB. Smile Laugh Out Loud Leaving No No

There's your problem right there. Any graduate from the Vladimir Institute of Boombox Repair knows that you drink BEFORE any repairs. It's the only way to guarantee success. Laugh Out Loud

Hi FD-Now I want you to know that this would not have happened if it was a boombox!
I truly really take my time with those.
Luckilly it was a home unit.
Thanks-I'll remember that next time!

i have had terrible experiences with anything made by that company. i feel your pain.
i am not saying everything old is better than everything new. well computers are better than the old ones.
in terms of what they can do anyways.
but yeah.
sometimes new stuff sucks.
