I think I shall print this listing and send a letter to the seller:
Dear Sir:
I am sitting here in the smallest room in my house with your boombox listing in front of me.....
Soon, it will be behind me!

It looks like a cartoon robot's head.
What a piece of garbage....! So much for "design" efforts, eh?
Here's a proper shower radio/cd. This one lives in my bathroom. It uses 6 c-cells or an AC adapter. Plays MP3s, too! I prefer to run it with rechargeable batts so there is no cable.
I bought it on eBay as a refurb for only $30. I imagine that at an actual Sharper Image store or from their catalog it probably cost well over $100.
It actually sounds quite good for a shower radio. You'd be surprised by the sound, it even reproduces some bass. My only criticism, CDs must be turned up considerably louder than the radio. But I can live with that.
