Thanks JSFLA,

I just signed up, don't have it yet but it will save us about $70 month over our current Dish-Phone-Internet set-up. (at least for the first year) then I'm sure it will increase, but still be a savings.

Here is my Question:

I want to 'BUY' the HD-DVR rather than rent from them.....probably from ebay.
Do you know if they will charge a fee or any other issues if I buy the DVR model they currently use?

Renting it is $16 or $17 a month, I'd just pay for a used one, and sell my Dish DVR and save $$$.

Confused i'm not sure but i know my brother does rent,i don't think they will allow it but i'll ask him if it's possible. There is a website that offers Fios and other items as a middleman reseller,my brother ordered his fios set up from them,www.saveology.com,ck it maybe the site may have the anwser,i tend to think it will be forced upon you,as fios advertises it's faster then broadband or dsl,and cheaper they gotta make some cash some way,lol
