there were many variations rt-6015 bombeat models and regular rt-70/80/90/120. but i belive it may be a bombeat model Smile

Reminds me a lot of my RT-85S, minus the fancy doodads in/around the speakers, the rearranged control knobs/levers, and the BomBeat name.

(Mine came from a trade show display. I don't think Toshiba ever actually used the BomBeat name in North America.)

An interesting point. My 3-piece RTS-8740S says Bombeat on it, but that was an eBay find so who knows where that one may have been in its life!

In the military AAFES (Army/Air Force Exchange Service) I do remember looking at Toshiba Bombeat boxes and the marketing handouts. But that was in Germany, not in the USA. The overseas AAFES stores were getting their gear straight from Japan and it never went through customs. It all had to be 110/220v switchable (ie. international models) and the prices were much cheaper vs. what the same gear cost in the USA at that time. Back then I also remember being disappointed when I came back stateside that the AAFES stores did not have nearly the same gear (or pricing) available as in Germany.
