They are throwing cheap Chevy`s onto the german market...

tpr - 2009-02-01 17:24

Actually all Daewoos were relabeled Chevrolet a while ago here .
Increadibly cheap for a car:

Additional:you get 2,500 EU if you scrap your old car (10 years+ old)and buy a new one....

oldskool69 - 2009-02-01 17:31

Are you upset? They've been throwing cheap a** poorly made cars at us in the States for years! Laugh Out Loud

tpr - 2009-02-01 17:38

(I know these "chevy`s" were made in korea, not to compare with vw`s)

Yes but if you buy a new Volkswagen you can save up to 10.000 eu....

.....yes yes -they want to help the german economy-nevertheless you have to invest around
20.000 euros to save 10,000 (families are not able to afford this) Laugh Out Loud and now
they`re just helping the koreans .... Eek

They have been selling Chevy's in Germany for years... but they called them Opels!

LOL!

Just kidding! I wish that they would sell more Opel designed cars here in the USA. Chevy would be in a better position for sure.

tpr - 2009-02-01 17:49

that might be true - the opels are good quality cars here.

johnnygto - 2009-02-01 19:32

Germany hasn't been throwing poorly made cars at us.... Koreans have Smile

I'm not a fan in my neighborhood because I bought a Nissan Murano for my wife, I got it brand new becuase it was a good sale in newspaper advertiement... they stood behind it, so I bought it...

Would probably only buy U.S next time, but what is U.S. really??? Canada?, Mexico?, China? Japan? Korea? Really confusing... so just buy what you can afford and like!!! I think...

Sorry Jens but the last Opel( a Tigra) i owned was a piece of cr@p. Trouble from day one. This was for me the most unreliable car.I'm i very satisfied Toyota driver now.

You can call it Daevrolet! Big Grin
But the Nubira combi is a nice car.

In Austria you get 1500euros when dumping a over 13years old car and buying a new.
Maybe i get the new LADA Priora...? Roll Eyes

tpr - 2009-02-02 03:44

Hi-I own B.M.W. and Chevrolet.
The old Chevy's are just incredible.
I also just love the BMW-great engineering and great mileage.
I got the best of both worlds.
Have a great one-GB. Nod Yes

Both my Chevy Camaros have been perfect. No complaints. I do love my Infiniti QX56 too.

Hi Johnny & Adam-I have a 320S (1980')it has 217,000 and it runs fantastic!
I keep it perfect!
I also have a 1981' Z-28 but I did replace the motor after 146,000 miles.
The valve lifters were ticking but still ran o.k.
I bought a crate motor(350) because that's what was in there.
The Camaro now has 220,000 miles and really runs great-I had the tranny rebuilt after 180,000 miles which I think is o.k. for a performance car.
I'm planning on having the Z-28 repainted(I need 2 new fenders though)
I love working on cars-it's my other hobby!
Have a great one-GB.
