I’ll have one i can use it as a weekend pad ha ha

isolator42 - 2011-06-24 05:32

That's a very posh area, but the prices are truly insane.

I love the price-bracket selector on the upper-left, the first being £0-£200K... anything under £200K & you're slumming it for sure

lav.loo - 2011-06-24 05:32

what a joke, i thought people was trying to get out of this now fu**ed up hole of a country, it just annoys me that people will pay that kind of coin when there,s people starving in the world, it,s all wrong

ghettoman - 2011-06-24 06:27

did u see see the £7.350,000 and the £4.000.000 properties ? both sold !!

there must be some people in uk that are not sh*t broke ..

on a lighter hearted, ghetto blasty note, just imagine how many Jvc M90s,Gf777,999,1000,Pana Rx 7000,5350 you could buy for that

toocool4 - 2011-06-24 07:24

The people that have this kind of money are not really affected by the down turn, yes they have taken a bit of a hit and lost a bit.

Put it this way it’s like you have £100 and you loose £2, yes you don’t like loosing it but it’s not going to really worry you either.

ghettoman - 2011-06-24 07:38

toocool, that is absolutely correct !! the people that most annoy me are footballers,£100.000 a week wage,90% of people in uk will never earn that much in a lifetime, they get that every week, and thats not counting the side contracts they have, and i bet allsorts of companies offer them things for free like clothes, cars ect..just for advertising, then they put all their money in foreign banks to avoid paying tax !! i've always hated football since i was a kid,it just never grabbed me at all, the job they do is'nt actually that difficult either, its like, they can kick a ball but can they build a brick wall, lay a floor, repair a roof, some people can do some things that others cant, but £100.000 a week for kicking a ball about is frankly ridiculous,i could understand a doctor, surgeon, police, fire fighter, soldier getting it,they save peoples lives every day,but footballers, what do they do exactly ?? it grates my grits just thinking about it

toocool4 - 2011-06-24 07:58

I hear what you are saying Beanie Man, but you cannot blame them for taking the money. The market pays what it thinks they are worth, me I don’t think they are worth that much but then I don’t pay their wages.

It’s the society we live in, the press feeds the nation junk and the nation says yum give me more.

An example is someone appears on big brother or get’s their t*t’s out and they are a star, the word star is so overly used that it means nothing anymore.

very true TC4, i mean look at todays popstars for example and the crappy music they make, need i say more

ghettoman - 2011-06-24 08:04

yes again i know what you mean, but what it also means is footballers play football so they are worth £100,000 per week plus extras, police are worth £400,as is nurses and fire fighters, armed forces ect..

Yes "star" "celebrity" is way out of control man..makes me feel like throwning my tv out of the window..

Ha ha I have not owned a TV for over 10 years, I was a real telly addict. I gave it up and the first 3 months was hard but after that don’t miss it.

I go to the Cinema a lot, that way I get to choose what I want watch and don’t have to watch the rubbish they put on.

The last good thing I saw on telly was Life by David Attenborough, now that was worth paying TV license for.

Yes SUPERFLYGUY I mainly stay away form most the rubbish that is out and about. If you see from my thread about what are you listening to now, they are older stuff and some good new ones too well I think they are good.

Good music can still be found but you need to do some work to find it.

We are going back to the Victorian times.
The top end of the market is booming, houses, Top end vintage cars. Top end antiques. top end restaurants ect:
As for top end paintings it's out of control.
The money has to move around, no good it staying with the super rich, the market doesn't work like that.

ghettoman - 2011-06-24 11:07
