was only listening to him yesterday on talk sport his mates are saying they had no idea that anything was a miss savage and neville  have just been on radio shocked.

Yeah, well exactly.  We used to hang around the gate at Elland rd and badger the suits for spare tickets for the directors box, we got in a few times too, once I sat next to Dave Bassett and Rob Wallace, anyway, once we were chatting to an agent who asked one of his boys (Gary Speed) if he'd give these boys (us) a lift home.

Great shame. Good player, gary. Not oustanding, but, a real workhorse. He was alway`s somewhere round the 6 yard box. You never know, what`s going on in someones head.

just shows though does'nt it ? does'nt matter how healthy you are,you can be a football player,athelete,marathon runner what ever,but at the end of the day when the time comes the time comes and thats it..does'nt matter who you are,fat,thin,old,young,fitness freak,couch potato..
