Let me guess. The seller has listed the item as 'seller refurbished' but doesn't give any detail to the 'refurbishments' he/she has made, buyers will find this very confusing.

So, to answer the initial question; perhaps the epic fail is that this thread's title does not match the content at all 
The VW Up! ad attempts (without 100% success) to refer to the demise of the boombox being at around 1995, which isn't completely wrong, I suppose.
CB, if you're referring to the thread title, it should be 'their'.
However, if we started correcting grammar on s2g we'd have an enormous & thankless task on our hands.
