right i have been bringing a vz-3000 back to life over the last few weeks car boot job,  so done the wash clean switches and such got to the deck  removed it for cleaning , hang on i thought that looks familiar started thinking then it clicked its the same as the 777 ! auto stop is slightly different but the idlers / play idler are the same so if you see a 3000 going for peanuts and have a 777 buy it then rip the deck out
