dottor walkman & retrodos

toocool4 - 2012-05-11 07:05

I have been looking at the works done by dottor walkman and retrodos, dottor walkman’s work I have experienced and like it.

I spent years looking for people to repair my Walkman’s, I use to have a guy that repaired my Walkman’s in the UK but then he retired.

I then went through Sony and many other people but got no joy. My search led me to Stereo2go and all of a sudden we have 2 very professional guys that are doing amazing jobs.

I just like to say we are very lucky to have these 2 guys, which are keeping our machines going.

I must not forget to mention renzgi, without his help my DC2’s would have been paper weights.

So thank you dottor walkman, retrodos and renzgi. Keep up the good work.

pity theres nobody in the uk who mends boxes to this standard ,  i have looked at posts by retrodos on repairs and they look very professional i think sometimes boxes are frowned upon by the walkman select .

Toocool's right we are extremely priveledged to have these gents looking after our audio antiques

Although I've never had any work done by them (yet!), their reputation precedes them!

I'd also like to add DocP for his vault of belts for our walkman's. I have had dealings with jim and I can't say enough good things about him.

Cheers to you all !!!!!

I want to thank you for your very kind compliments. I would also like to offer the same compliments to Plop. He, too, is a technician very good and thorough.
Thanks again for your patience and trust.

Thanks for the very kind compliments. Don't forgot about Plop, he wrote the substitute capacitor replacement guide, to find hard to find capacitors for those that needed it and other interesting threads and DocP for belts at reasonable prices and for various models and sizes that otherwise would be very costly.

Without all the great guys on this forum I would likely have a pile of pretty but useless horrid sounding piles of junk. Plop helped me greatly with Aiwas/Caps and recently retropcdos on my D6C. Doctor walkman and rengzi have also provided alot of invaluable information.
