Checked AgentO's last time on forum was Aug. 10th.   Guess after 2 weeks we send out the "AGENT" search and rescue team.  Probably on a 2 week vacation so he will pop up about Aug. 27 my prediction.  We miss our Walkman Guru

More activity is a good thing in general. I think, overall, Claret, deliverance, your goodself and many others have upped the activity ante quite a bit. There was a time not that long ago when there was almost nothing happening compared to now (although that was with regard to the walkman section where I usually lurk). Seriously, I'd log in, take a beak around, and log out. I've had cigarettes that have lasted longer

Awww, I missed you guys.

Yep, been away for a couple of weeks on the annual family vacation, just got back today.

We went to stay in the hills of Andalucia in the South of Spain.

So, what's been going on, do i need to ban anyone?

This may interest the more adventurous among you.

One of the things I wanted to visit when in Spain was the famous El Camino gorge which has a perilous aerial walkway famous amongst climbers and thrill seekers around the world...

Here is my pic from when we visited it last week...

As you might be able to work out access is via the railway bridge to the right then along the walkway, however, as you can see, around 30ft of walkway has fallen off thus making the walkway completely unreachable.  I was kind of glad as I'd promissed myself for years that i would try to get up there at least once in my life.

Here as a video of someone else navigating the walkway, as you will see, it isn't for the faint hearted.

Welcome back Chris....hope you had a swell time...lad....just watching that video was enough to give me the geebees lol.....been to Spain many times, the pereaknees mountains were a must..being well over cloud cover...a spectacular view

I think your very wise discretion to not do what the guy did in that rather unsettling video was a good decision so that we could all enjoy your presence here.  Awesome beauty even without taking that perilous walk.  Glad you made on of those lifetime dream/goals.  I for one would ALSO not have done the complete walk.  So much of that concrete is old brittle and giving way and certainly could for some poor soul.  Some Grand Canyon hiking a decade ago was enough for me.
