My theory: The stupid Dutch people who always pay too much for Philips stuff on our version of craigslist found it and are now bidding like monkeys on it...

Believe me: It's quite normal here in the Netherlands for Philips stuff to be overpriced, and actually being sold.

Little whodunit: who, besides LavLoo, would spend so much on a unit that is easy to find at much much less? Surely this is the reason why he was so hard pressed to sell his wonderful Watson, he was in need of money...

(btw, the guy who sold the Philips is a member here and he's one of the nicest ebayers that I have ever dealt with)
