I just bought a second hand SONY VCR for $6.00 CDN in very good condition and it still operates fine .I am trying in vain to find out how old it is, some background info on the model and where I can get remote control .But when I typed in the model number (SLV-M79) and I got nothing on the internet ,I even tried the official SONY site and no dice ?

If anyone out there collects old VCRs and has any pointers on where I could go to get some help ,please let me know .
