been watching time team on channel four since day one in 1994,fascinated in archaeology and digging up things and these guys do it in abundance....meant to put a post up last week but forgot so here goes.....

Mick_Astonheres mick aston,a professor in archaeology and co presenter of time team since the first episode.he passed away aged just 66 at the end of june and to me its a loss as ive watched him on tv for 19 years-great show and great bloke-he even came to castleford which is up the road from me,to look at the roman town years back and they are constantly showing it on more 4

anyone else remember him?begs the question though how old Sir Tony Robinson is nowadays (the main presenter)

rest in peace mick old lad and cheers

and he's your style guru too

I like a bit of time team myself, good sunday telly that, and 66 is young these days

yep t shirts all the way,too many years wearing a full suit in this swealtering hot weather lol-they made the last series last year and its already been shown on 4,and as far as ive read somewhere mick was ill for the filming on that so missed certain bits of that-so this is a double mourning, the loss of mick aston and time team, after 19 years, and yet junk like big brother is still going strong(thumbs down)

radio.raheem - 2013-07-15 05:33

big brother...that's worse than shitty ipods if thats possible

andyboombox - 2013-07-15 06:27

think they are both as junk as each other lad.....along with the only way is essex,x factor, the voice, and all the rest of that total junk that makes it onto our tv screens and into our pockets, portable media today is a joke, and i know, coming back on topic lol,old mick off time team felt the same wayhe was always moaning about modern tech going wrong lol

BRING BACK TIME TEAM -WHILE THERE IS STILL LOTS OF LIFE LEFT IN SIR TONY IT SHOULD CARRY ON!!!!!
