OK if you like minis here's one I've just found on the web of my dad racing his Mini Cooper S in the Special Saloon Car Race at the Peco Trophy meeting at Oulton Park in the UK in 1968!...he's the second mini in the pic...amazed I found it but then they always used to have professional photographers on the circuits and he was a mad racer for years so I suppose its not that surprising

Si..amazing stuff! I always loved the (original) minis. The new ones just don't have the same appeal.
On the bright side you must have been a hit with the kids at school. How many kids can say their dad is a race car driver!?

Although I was born in Manchester I only lived there until I was 3 months old. I lived in Knutsford until was 18 and me and my mates used to bomb up and down those very roads seeing how many wheels we could get off the road going over little hump backed bridges.
