Vintage Sony 8FC-69WA AM/FM Digimatic Flip Clock Radio

Picked this one up for free, untested. Gave it a cleaning, polishing, some feed 'n wax on the wood, turned it on and it works. It is in real nice condition, no cracks or faults on the case. I believe this was made in late 1960's to early 1970's.
Made in Japan. :smoke:

Nice one  Also got a Sony flip clock. A fancy space age design. Got it very cheap on the bay. Dont know why, cause they normally go for silly money. Still have to open it up tho, something went wrong it during shipping a couple of months back. It's stuck somewhere.

no drink stains on the wood

Who ever owned this took care of it. Good grab Robb

For a clock radio, that's a classy looking piece of kit.

Congratulations. That is a thing of beauty.

Classic.

It is a true Analog "Digital" clock!

Looks like the dial is backlit. Potential target for LED mod!

And, what is the name plate saying? 117V?

Which country has a mains voltage of 117V?
