I have one of these, the quality of the metallic black painted finish is really nice.

are there any drawbacks to look for when searching for a nice sony. the prices for alot of the nicer cassette players are going out of sight unless you spend 10hrs. a day at the computer and snag one that is sleeping. those seem really underpriced in comparison. they seem to have been lost in time to a couple of forgetable years. it may be a good time now to make some knowledgable buys.
