Just got this Morphy Richards portable CD player, I have quite a large collection of portable players mostly Sony, but always on the lookout for anything interesting.
This is good quality all metal contruction and heavy, it came with a detachable battery case which is very neat and holds 4 AA batteries.
The best feature is the control buttons, actually there is no buttons as such just a panel which is soft touch, not seen another like this.The sound is very good, here it is:























I can't any info on this player anywhere and have no idea who the manufacturer was, maybe someone has the same player under a different brand, I'm guessing it's late 80's.

Dave what a excellent example of older CD technology. I have never heard of that brand ???
Did they make other models and did they make walkmans cassette ? Great bit o kit!
