Come on,list your box collection,and which ones you would never part with and the ones (if any) that maybe for the chop (that you might part with,e.g sell,swap,trade)

Hmmm..thats not the reason i wanted to know mate,well not the main reason anyhow..just wanted people to list what they got,like collections,so we can see different boxes people have got..

M70 (customized in white), M71, M9994k, Rising 20/20 (w/ blue LED mod), M50, 2 Kabooms, Panny 680, 780, and 800, GE Blockbuster and 6035, JVC PCV2J, Crown 950F, and Prosonic 9962. The one box I would never sell is my white M70 because it is the only one of its kind and I did all the work myself and it is the most beautiful M70 I have ever seen. One in my collection that I would sell is my M50. It looks perfect but the sound is a dissappointment considering it's size. My most favorite to listen to is my M9994k...got it from Japan and it is in PERFECT condition....

i found it hard to explain what i meant this thread to be about,but you just explained it perfectly,what you posted,thats exactly what i meant,boxes you have,your fave that you love and wont part with,and some that you may let go if the box or price is right..

...thanks gettoman, my love for boxes runs deep. I was a teenager during the best part of the boombox era...the early to mid 80's...boomboxes were a huge part of the culture in my neighborhood. They were as common as ipods are today. I am thankful for websites such as this one for keeping that spirit alive...and the beat goes on!!!

I had the GF 9500 a while back.... BUT.... It is a three part radio (not a boomBOX... ) so that went (my brother had found it at a bootsale and bought it...) I fixed it up (sounded GREAT) and sold it to an ST2G member a good while back.

hi all, gotta say that 5300 is 1 of the ugliest made by the brilliant panasonic brand, i picked 1 up at a carboot down skeggy last year of an old guy for a £5, good sound thow, by the way if any of u guys ever visit skeggy be sure to check out the bootsales, theres 1 on nearly every day down there in summer, gems to be found, then u can hit the beach and boogie all day, (with ur box)

Yes these jumbo's are nice hugo,i admit they are in the crown league,but these are hugely bigger,heavier,alot more solid feel,these dont feel like they will fall apart when you pick them up like the crown..the sound is way louder and bassier..Yes this one is mine,she's in nice condition,very clean,when i got it the cassettes were faulty,i had a word with member roddy,he advised me,it turned out to be 4 faulty potentiometres = VR's..i ordered 4 VR's and changed the belts,and although i'm not a tape type of guy,i dont really play tapes,but she's been great since..

Got loads but my top one for me is my 9494

i got it free from a mate at the dump - had to walk it home 4 mile with my bmx cos i couldn't ride with it - didn't even know if it was working - got home plugged it in and magic ! every thing worked - great sound and once cleaned it looks sweet - i will change the black cones for chrome ones

as for the other - well i have to sort them out soon and will let you all know when i do
