You've all probably seen plenty of these, but here's mine. Got this and a new belt for $19. Pretty happy about it. Thanks to DocP for making the troubleshooting guide or this might be in even worse shape than when I got it.

the 10's and the 30's are a nice step up. why do they call them 2 different names ? the new hinge with the spring really makes the whole deal alot sturdier. i got a blue one from ebay and it is nice , nice , nice. that make 2 now and i believe there are 4-5 colors. last but not least is not forgetting to put in the headphone jack. there are about 8-10 models now that are basically the samething and if you did one you can do them all. they cost a pretty penny back in 84.

I kept reading that these models don't work unless headphones are plugged in, but mine powers on and the motor spins for all functions even without headphone plugged in. Perhaps some light could be shed on that matter.

You could have got the belt from DocP he would have sold it to you alot cheaper, you could have order a set of 25 belts to 100 from him different sizes.

I actually did get the belt from DocP (thanks again for that). I just got 1 belt, so it was a bit more, but I still think I got a really good deal with this.

I saw the same model go for about $60 on eBay yesterday. I guess spring time is good for Walkman sellers.
