I managed to find a NIB Sony SRF-A1. I believe the seller found a box with 10 of these units inside, all NIB. They're rather rare as they could play FM Stereo and AM Stereo. I had one new back in 1983 but sold it about 10 years ago for approximately $5 along with a Aiwa HS-JX2000 also for about $5 which was mint (madness for sure). By the way the lead acid battery was already dead back then.

I remember 1983 for this Walkman plus the Aiwa HS-M2 and Sony PS-F5. All great innovation for the time which left an impression on me. I only bought the Sony SRF-A1 at the time because I couldn't afford the other two. We also got AM Stereo broadcasts back then which was a fun novelty at the time but not anymore though.
