What a great addition to my Stereo Micro Cassette collection

Hi All,

I'm really pleased with my latest addition to my Stereo Micro Cassette collection. This is what I believe is the smallest recording Stereo Micro Cassette ever made. I'm sure some of you are familiar with this model. I remember seeing this AIWA HS-M2 back in 1985 when it was launch here in South Africa and the fascination of something so small left quite an impression on me. It is beautifully made and a real premium product.

It must be good because so far I've only collected Sony Walkmans. Enjoy the pictures.

BTW, I've got both the User and Service Manuals for the Aiwa HS-M2. Just PM me if you'd like a copy.

Very very nice and in mint condition with original mic, headphones and an Aiwa metal microcassette very rare find.
On the subject of rare and mint I am very fortunate to have received today a mint boxed Sanyo RD XM1 stereo Microcassette Deck I will post pictures etc of this shortly.

Wow, that does sound interesting. I've never seen a Sanyo RD XM1 Stereo Micro Cassette before. I was a big Sony / Sanyo and Aiwa fan in the early 80's. I'm looking forward to the pictures.

I've uploaded a video to YouTube for anyone interested. It includes the music from the original Demo Metal Micro Cassette called "Quick Step". Enjoy!

Perfect rare addition to your collection! Have only seen one in person and held it , this player is truly miniscule in size. And the build quality is so evident when you hold it in your hand and use it. Our old guard member Jazzrat2000 has a boxed one that at one of our lunch meetings I saw.
