Hello Smile

Behold one of the most kool walkmans ever Cool

It is a Argo П-401C плеер walkman from all the way
from Russia! Smile

Gedcom was so super nice to send the nice walkman
to me in Holland together with its brother the
Mini Elektronika плеер Smile

Here are some pictures so you can enjoy this

Here is a picture from the left side of the

connection which I do not know yet what it is for:

And here is the right side of the walkman with
another headphone connection! Eek

Here is the batterie lid open, as you see there
need to go batteries in which I never did see
before Confused, that is why I was not able
to thest this fantastic walkman Smile

Here is the little text on the back of the
walkman with al the info in the Russian language,
Maybe Gedcom could tell us what is written there Smile

So I am really happy and fortunate to own such
nice walkmans, and all thanks to S2G member Gedcom! Smile

Very nice too, but when i am honest i like the other one more

very kind from Gedman to send it over!!

I would assume that other jack is for an AC adaptor.

Strange-sized battery compartment. Any ideas to what batteries it takes?

ao - 2008-03-07 10:21

Eeek

But interesting

agent, carefull with your comments, after all the russians built the MIR, other than the american spacecrafts (...wich all fell down by themselves...) the MIR didn't come down on it's own, it lasted longer than any other spacecraft. i like that baby, wouldn't mind one myselfe, congrats, nicolle !

jcyellocar - 2008-03-07 14:39

That's the strangest walkman I've ever seen. Hope it sounds good.

tranxmetal - 2008-03-07 19:42

Oh my god! very very rare.... and is fantastic too, I ever said: The rarest, the better... Big Grin

Thanks for the pictures, it is a very sweet portable, and thanks to GEDCOM for the translate, very useful if any day I can catch a rare walkman like this.

i love the feature of the side-by-side headphone jacks, very inusual, but convenient I think, if you use the walkman attached to your belt on the left or right side .

the most strange feature i think, is the battery compartment, looks like this unit uses button cells LR2020 or LR2025 or something like that.... Curious.

veredict: I LOVE IT, BOTH.

Thanks NICOLLE, and good job!

Congratulation Big Grin

Ein sehr schöner плеер Big Grin

I like this one more than the other russian one.I guess it is because of those friendly and cool colours Smile

Interesting thing!

I hope you'll find or get any info/help on the needed batteries to finally test your new плеер !

Batterymaker, it does seem to use these batteries!!, I never did see them before,
but thanks to the nice peoples on Gedcom's forum
they did find this out Smile

Yes Autoreverser, it is a super sturdy walkman!

jcellocar, I could not try it yet because of the

Thanks Transxmetel Cool, you know what walkmans
are nice Smile

Danke Felix Smile

Okay, I've seen some odd batteries in the gig I'm into...

Small silver oxide batteries should fit in that compartment pretty well. I wouldn't use hearing aid batteries--they're zinc-air and have a tendency to leak.
